- "Pirate King Gorian Shard's name is familiar to all in this sector."
- ―Greef Karga to Vane
Gorian Shard's pirate crew,[1] or Gorian Shard's gang,[5] was a gang and pirate crew led by the Pirate King Gorian Shard that operated in the Dalicron sector and on the planet Nevarro[2] around 9 ABY.[3] Among Shard's followers was a Nikto pirate named Vane, who served as his second-in-command.[6] Captain Shard's band was also secretly allied with Moff Gideon's Imperial remnant.[4] After High Magistrate Greef Karga and Din Djarin killed members of the gang on Nevarro, the gang ambushed Djarin at the asteroid fields at the edge of Nevarro's system. Djarin destroyed several of their starfighters and escaped.[2] After Shard's Corsair warship commenced an aerial bombardment of Nevarro, Djarin and other Mandalorians attacked the Corsair and Vane's Snub Fighter squadron. During the ensuing battle, Vane's squadron was obliterated, and Vane fled. Djarin and Mandalorian Lady Bo-Katan Kryze destroyed Shard's flagship, killing the pirate king and his crew.[7]
