A personality matrix,[1] also known as a droid matrix,[2] was a droid component that was responsible for the knowledge base and personality of the droid in which it was installed. Personality matrices, such as the Triple-Zero protocol personality matrix, were able to store information and knowledge, but also personality quirks which contributed to the droid's individuality and behavior.[1]
