The Paqualis system was a star system containing Paqualis III,[2] located along the Hydian Way hyperspace route in the Inner Rim of the galaxy at the coordinates L-8.[1] After skirmishing with the bounty hunters 4-LOM and Zuckuss, the smuggler Han Solo offered to fly the pair to an outpost on Paqualis III.[3]
A New Republic supply transport was raided by pirates while in the system, leaving the vessel without its cargo or any living crew members. Lieutenant Yrica Quell discovered the plundered starship when searching the system for a trace of the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing several weeks after the Battle of Endor[2] in 4 ABY.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Paqualis system first appeared in the 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron, which was written by Alexander Freed.[2] The star system was originally introduced in Star Wars Legends in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace.[5]
