The Pansha system[6] was located in the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior[2] in grid square K-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was situated on the Nexus Route,[3] a hyperspace route that linked it to the Abregado and Botor systems.[1] The Pansha system was the origin point of[5] the Panshan blossom[7] and home to[5] the Panshan blossom tree, which was also referred to as the Panshan tree.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Pansha system was first mentioned in Pablo Hidalgo's 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide on a galaxy map authored by Jason Fry and Christopher Ibbitt.[1] The October 14, 2025 update to[8] "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[6] on June 24 of the same year—with both works being authored by Fry[9]—subsequently identified the system by name.[6]

This assumes that the name "Nexus Route," as used in TCW mini logo Star Wars: The Clone Wars — "The Citadel", applies to the canon hyperspace route depicted on the map that matches the depiction of the Star Wars Legends route with the same name in The Essential Guide to Warfare per BlueskyLogo Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the the Pansha system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the the Panshan blossom and the Panshan blossom tree species.
