The Padawan Academic Cruiser was a model of cruiser that was used by the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era to train Jedi Padawans. The cruiser had a large bridge that was the focus of the ship's activity.[3]
The Academic Cruiser served as a mobile classroom and transport for Jedi. It allowed Padawans to learn while traveling the galaxy.[3] One such cruiser was the Star Hopper, which responded to a Nihil attack on Trymant IV.[1]
