A pachydermoid, also known as pachyderm,[1] was a type of species, unrelated and from separate planets, members of which shared certain physical characteristics. Pachydermoids typically had either trunks or elongated mouths, thick skin, and hoof-like feet. Another typical—but not all-encompassing—trait was the possession of tusks or tusk-like teeth.[source?]
