The Osara system was a part of the Inner Rim.[1] It shared its name with the event known as the Osara Mundicide, which took place after the war of approximately 10,000 BBY between the Galactic Republic and the Kumauri Empire and which involved the use of mass-driver cannons for orbital bombardment.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Osara system was introduced in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square K-8.[1]
