The Orto Norwe system was a star system in the Trans-Vulta sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and New Territories.[2] It was located in grid square N-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Orto Norwe system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3]
The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it appeared in the comic book The Clone Wars: The Sith Hunters, which was written by Henry Gilroy and Steven Melching, illustrated by Vicenç Villagrasa, and published by Dark Horse Comics[4] on August 15, 2012.[5] It was then identified in an update to the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[6]
