- "Hello, Control, we are a Naboo civilian ship here to see some of our artists. They live in a settlement north of Nooro-City."
- ―Padmé Amidala, to a landing control worker
Nooro-City was a city on the spice-producing[1] Outer Rim[2] planet Nooroyo.[1] By 22 BBY,[3] an artist commune owned by the human Celena was located north of the city.[1] That year,[3] the Mid Rim[2] planet Naboo's former queen, Padmé Amidala, and the Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker visited Nooroyo to bring home five Naboo Torada Collective artists. Amidala spoke to a Nooroyo primary landing control worker upon their arrival, mentioning that the settlement they were seeking was to the north of Nooro-City.[1]
Behind the scenes
Nooro-City was mentioned in Queen's Hope,[1] a 2022 young-adult novel written by E. K. Johnston[4] as the third installment of Star Wars: Queen's Series.[1]
