Nooli Grang was a Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order who lived during the High Republic Era and was an old friend of Jedi Master Elzar Mann.[1] In 229 BBY,[2]—228 BBY[3] Grang assisted a Republic Defense Coalition fleet in an assault on the Nihil pirates Stormwall. The first phase of their plan, which entailed overloading a defective Stormwall generator with concentrated fire and exploiting the resulting gap to fly through, initially appeared successful. However, as the fleet set out, the barrier repaired itself much faster than expected, and several longbeams and the vector of Reede Somas were unable to abort their hyperspace jump in time and were destroyed. Grang then withdrew with the remaining ships on Elzar Mann's orders.[1]
