The Nanite Launcher was a type of projectile launcher which fired nanite payloads, projectiles that could use nanotechnology to either heal or harm targets. The Twi'lek bioengineer Tuya developed a prototype while working at Medtech Industries, which she later stole after she learned they had nefarious plans for the weapon, taking it with her when she became a participant in the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition on the planet Vespaara. It could be temporarily modified for long-range usage.[1]
