The Namadii system was located in the Churnis sector[2] of the Mid Rim Territories in grid square I-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was situated at the endpoint of[3] the Namadii Corridor[4] hyperspace route, which linked it to the Ansion system.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Namadii system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set.[1] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[2] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[5] The Namadii system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[6]

Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
