- "You must be sure to visit the Skydome Botanical Gardens. The Mysess blossoms are in full bloom and, oh, my, oh, my, are they something to see."
- ―A taxi droid
Mysess blossoms were a type of blossoming plant that could be found in the Skydome Botanical Gardens in Galactic City on the planet Coruscant.[1] Around 9 ABY,[2] the gardens' Mysess blossoms were in full bloom. A taxi droid driving Doctor Penn Pershing from the Galaxies Opera House to Amnesty Housing on Coruscant suggested that the doctor, who was new to Coruscant, visit the gardens as the blooming blossoms were a sight to behold.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Mysess blossoms were mentioned in "Chapter 19: The Convert," the third episode of the Disney+ show The Mandalorian's third season,[1] which aired on March 15, 2023.[3] The plant originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they first appeared in Rage of the Wookiees, the second expansion for Sony Online Entertainment's massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies, which was released on May 5, 2005.[4]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" of The Mandalorian Season One to 9 ABY. In addition,
"A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 also dates "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Timelines. "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" takes place after the conflict on Mandalore, which is the main event depicted in "Chapter 23: The Spies" and "Chapter 24: The Return," the final two episodes of The Mandalorian Season Three. Therefore, Seasons One through Three of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, the latter of which includes "Chapter 19: The Convert," must all be set in 9 ABY as well.
