- "A Ho'Din settlement on Moltok is getting shot at by the local Makurth boss, and they need some Imperial muscle to knock their little heads together before it becomes a full-fledged war. We need to go."
- ―Filia Rossi, to Eli Vanto
Moltok was an astronomical object[3] located in the Atrivis sector's Moltok system, within the intersection of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories regions.[2] Situated at the coordinates L-5 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[3] it was home to a Ho'Din settlement.[4] In 13 BBY[5] the settlement came under attack from a local Makurth boss leading the Ho'Din to request the aid of Imperial muscle to prevent the crisis from becoming a full-fledged war. Imperial forces stationed aboard the Gozanti-class cruiser Blood Crow under the command of Captain Filia Rossi were sent to settle the matter.[4]
Behind the scenes
Moltok was first mentioned in Star Wars canon in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2016.[3] In Star Wars Legends, Moltok was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races, a supplement written by Troy Denning for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, that was released in 1989.[6]
