- "Looks like Crimson Dawn's stolen some relic from the Ashiga Clan."
"They must have known it would keep the Queen distracted"
"Well, I'm sure the Queen would appreciate if I got it back to them." - ―Kay Vess and ND-5
In 3 ABY,[2] Kay Vess' crew infiltrated the private Crimson Dawn club known as the Wellspring to recover a stolen Ashiga Clan artifact. The crew believed that by recovering the artifact, they can earn Queen Ashiga's favor, and convince her to free Ank Parako, the bombmaker selected for their heist.[1]
