- "The distress signal is coming from here—Meridian sector, Cybloc system."
- ―Obi-Wan Kenobi, to Adi Gallia
The Meridian sector was a sector in the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy. It contained the Cybloc system, the site of the[1] Cybloc Transfer Station[4] In 19 BBY,[5] the rogue Sith Maul and Savage Opress raided on the transfer station, seizing credits and a cargo ship. A distress call from the station reached the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Adi Gallia, who visited the Cybloc Transfer Station to investigate.[1] Around 5 ABY,[6] the New Republic pilot Chass na Chadic encountered a member of the Children of the Empty Sun cult which she was convinced had been a notorious bounty hunter from the Meridian sector.[7]
