- "One fool betrays his squadron, and loyal officers like us are "reassigned" in disgrace. I heard they sent you to the Outer Rim. I got the Meram Sector, protecting fuel shipments from petty scoundrels and pirates."
- ―Captain Terisa Kerril, to Titan Three
The Meram Sector was a sector located in the galaxy. After the Captain Lindon Javes betrayed his squadron in a battle at Fostar Haven, the Galactic Empire reassigned Lieutenant Terisa Kerrill in "disgrace" to the Meram Sector to protect fuel shipments from petty scoundrels and pirates, the sort of posting that used to end careers.[2]
Behind the scenes
Meram Sector was first mentioned in Star Wars Canon in the 2020 video game Star Wars: Squadrons.[2] The Meram sector was first mentioned in Star Wars Legends, in the 1994 Galaxy Guide 11: Criminal Organizations.[4]
