Mardona III, also known simply as Mardona, was a planet[4] in an intersecting portion of the Inner Rim Territories[3] and the Interior regions.[2] It was situated at N-13 on the Standard Galactic Grid and located along the Hydian Way[3] super-hyperroute[5] between Candovant and Denon, the latter of which stood at an intersection between the Hydian Way and the Corellian Run.[3] It was used by the Galactic Empire to stockpile equipment and materials for nearby systems. During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry attacked Mardona III as part of its campaign named Operation Ringbreaker.[4]
Mardona III was a warehouse world that served the Galactic Empire. It had oceans, a breathable surface and large automated facilities to supply the needs of the Empire, with megaports and large buildings.[4]
Behind the scenes
Mardona III first appeared in the novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, which was written by Alexander Freed and published in 2015.[4]
