Mara was first mentioned in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces Of The Past's second episode.[1] The StarWars.com article "Our Favorite Deep Cuts and Fun Facts from LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past - Updated" confirmed that Mara was a reference to the Emperor's Hand Mara Jade Skywalker,[2] originally created by author Timothy Zahn for the 1991 Star Wars Legends novel Heir to the Empire.[3]
