Lyrobru[3] was a humanoid sentient species that was distinguished by their blue and tan[1] or brown[2] skin and dog-like faces.[1] In the year 132 BBY,[4] during the High Republic Era, the Lyrobru Orlut had been detained by the Galactic Republic, breaking free alongside Verosha Aniseya, but being re-apprehended by the Jedi Order shortly thereafter.[5] During the reign of the Galactic Empire[1] in 5 BBY,[6] a member of the species was on the planet Niamos, lounging on the beaches around Pier Nine.[1] In 3 BBY, a Lyrobru was present on the planet Ghorman.[2]
Behind the scenes
Lyrobru, albeit unidentified, first appeared in "Announcement," the first season's seventh episode of the Disney+ television series Star Wars: Andor,[1] which aired on October 19, 2022.[7] The species was later identified as Lyrobru in the 2025 Dorling Kindersley reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, written by Pablo Hidalgo.[3]
