The Lwhekk system was located in Ssi-ruuvi Space of the Unknown Regions in grid square C-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Lwhekk system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set.[2] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[3]
The star system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned as the Lwhekk system in The Truce at Bakura Sourcebook, which was authored by Kathy Tyers and Eric S. Trautmann for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4] It was subsequently identified as the Ssi'kaat system in the 1998 reference book The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons, which also contained the first illustration of its planet Lwhekk.[5]
