Lurker Stew was a type of hearty stew made with braised lurker meat and nysillin. In 3 ABY, the Rokana Raiders pirate group voted on whether to serve Lurker Stew or Mynock Casserole while in the tavern they used in the Khepi Tomb in the Khepi system. The vote was a stalemate and a human and a Sullustan in the group then had the disguised thief Kay Vess cast the deciding vote.

Description

Lurker Stew was a hearty stew made with^[1] the herb^[2] nysillin and the braised meat of a lurker,^[1] a type of amphibian native to the planet Judakann.^[3] A portion was worth sixty-six credits.^[1]

In 3 ABY,^[4] the Rokana Raiders group of pirates had prepared Lurker Stew in the kitchen of a tavern they used in the Khepi Tomb in the Khepi system. A vote was held to see if they should serve the Lurker Stew or a Mynock Casserole, but was tied in a stalemate, with a human member of the group hoping for the stew and a Sullustan member hoping for the casserole, as he did not want to eat lurker guts during what might be their last meal before the group's leader, Stinger Tash, opened the tomb.^[1]

Hoping to end the stalemate, the human called over the thief Kay Vess, who was disguised as a Rokana Raider, and the Sullustan asked her to vote. Vess then chose one of the options and the human gave her a portion of it, saying the unused food would be put into cold storage for if they had another "last meal" the next day. This meal never came though, as the Raiders were soon forced to leave the tomb.^[1]

Lurker Stew appeared in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,^[1] which released on May 15, 2025.^[5] In the game, the player can choose either option or not engage in the vote at all without effecting the story.^[1]
