The Leonit system was a star system located in the Cyrillian Protectorate of the Expansion Region. It was situated in grid square O-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained the terrestrial astronomical object Leonit.[2] By around 161 BBY,[3] the human Jedi Padawan Indara had spent time on Leonit and marveled at the shifting sands there, which she considered endless.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Leonit system was mentioned in[1] the October 13, 2025[4] update to "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com.[1] Both were written by Jason Fry.[5]

- ↑ The events of The Acolyte: Wayseeker take place around 160 BBY per the reasoning here. Wayseeker states that Indara visited Leonit before she was involved in the Farlingan Collapse, which occurred a year before the novel's events. Therefore, Indara must have traveled to Leonit by around 161 BBY.
