Kuna's Eye system

The Kuna's Eye system was located in the Moddell sector, a subsector of the Zuma sector of the Outer Rim Territories in grid square H-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.^[1] It was connected by hyperspace routes to the Kuna's Fist and Kuna's Tooth systems. The Kuna's Eye system was depicted on a map of the Moddell sector included with the Rebel Alliance collection of non-electronic documents known as The Rebel Files.^[2]

Behind the scenes

The Kuna's Eye system was introduced in the current Star Wars canon via a mention in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Rebel Files, authored by Daniel Wallace.^[2] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com^[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.^[3]

In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Kuna's Eye system was introduced in the article "Endor and the Moddell Sector," which was published for use with Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game in the ninth issue of the Star Wars Gamer magazine^[4] on February 22, 2002.^[5] The system was subsequently identified by name in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.^[6]
