The Krykas system was a star system located in the Spirva sector of the Mid Rim Territories. It was situated in grid square L-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Krykas system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[2] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in "Bloodhawk Down," a roleplaying adventure written by Owen K.C. Stephens for use with Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game and published on Wizards.com on October 10, 2002.[3] It was then identified as the Krykas system for the first time in the 2009 rference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[4]
