"I must find a way to tell Father we should make a blaster-proof prototype."
―Kozmo Sundrel IV, regarding his medallion[1]

Reena University student Kozmo Sundrel IV's father was a male individual in a noble family who lived during the High Republic Era. When Sundrel was shot by Leyli Romero—a fellow Reena University student who was spying on behalf of a crew of thieves led by the human Elecia Zeveron[1]—around 396 BBY,[2] he survived thanks to his Luzalite diamond medallion, a family heirloom. He then commented that he needed to consult his father about making a blaster-proof prototype of the medallion.[1]

Behind the scenes

Kozmo Sundrel IV's father was mentioned in the short story "The Queen's Bloom," written by Zoraida Córdova and published in the 2023 young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[1]
