- "Let us partake of the bounty of the Force."
"Did you see the geysers while you were on Kiszo?"
"I did. And the canyons. It's a beautiful place. But I'm not here to share happy memories, Master Yaddle." - ―Vernestra Rwoh and Yaddle
Kiszo was a small planet located in the Kiszo system of the Outer Rim's Lol sector. During the High Republic Era, members of the Church of the Force religious group lived there by the time between around 170 BBY and around 160 BBY. At that time, the Mirialan Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh visited Kiszo during her travels as a Jedi Wayseeker and learned the common phrase "let us partake of the bounty of the Force." Around 160 BBY, Rwoh briefly spoke about her time on Kiszo with Jedi Master Yaddle, who was also familiar with the refrain from the planet.
Description
Kiszo was a small terrestrial planet[3] located in the Kiszo system within the Lol sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and Trailing Sectors.[2] It was situated in grid square Q-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The planet featured geysers and canyons.[3]
History
Vernestra Rwoh visited Kiszo while traveling as a Jedi Wayseeker.
By the time between around 170 BBY and around 160 BBY,[4] during the High Republic Era, Kiszo was considered an out-of-the-way planet and members of[3] the religious group[5] known as the Church of the Force resided there.[3] During the same time,[4] the Mirialan Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh visited Kiszo as part of her travels as a Jedi Wayseeker and learned a refrain—"let us partake of the bounty of the Force"—that was common on Kiszo. During her time on Kiszo, Rwoh also visited the world's geysers and canyons.[3]
Around 160 BBY,[4] Rwoh returned to the Jedi Temple on[3] the Core Worlds planet[5] Coruscant at the request of the Jedi High Council and was assigned a mission. Afterward, Rwoh and Jedi Master Yaddle[3]—a member of a mysterious species[6]—visited the latter's quarters to discuss the assignment. Once the Mirialan agreed to have a drink with Yaddle, Rwoh uttered the Kiszo expression, which Yaddle recognized with a smile and inquired if the other Jedi had visited the planet's geysers. In response, Rwoh noted that she had indeed visited both them and Kiszo's canyons, characterizing the world as a beautiful place before telling Yaddle that she was not there to share pleasant memories.[3]
