"It sounds like Fruscti. It's a dead language. There were some artifacts found bearing the language on Killof as well as Truvi, Loit, and a few other places."
―Vernestra Rwoh, to Indara[2]

Killof was a terrestrial astronomical object in the galaxy.[2] By around 160 BBY,[3] artifacts bearing the dead language Fruscti were found on Killof.[2] Around that year,[3] Galactic Republic Senator Jakob Garn was killed on the planet Thelj, and Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh searched his body and found a holo-emitter in which Garn had recorded a message in Fruscti. Upon listening to the message, Rwoh's companion Indara asked what language Garn had spoken in it, and Rwoh replied that Garn had likely been speaking Fruscti. According to Rwoh, artifacts bearing the language had been found on Killof and at other locations, and while it was unknown what had happened to the speakers of the language, the artifacts were usually found in places considered holy by other cultures.[2]

Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide establishes that Indara is fifty-four years old in The Acolyte and also states that she is twenty-six years old during the events of The Acolyte: Wayseeker. Therefore, the events of Wayseeker must take place around 160 BBY.
