Kidron was a planet[2] located in the Kidron system in the Elrood sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] During the Galactic Civil War, many Y-wing pilots trained on Kidron, soaring through its spectacular orange skies.[2]

Behind the scenes

The planet Kidron was first mentioned in the 2020 video game Star Wars: Squadrons, which was included in the description of a cosmetic helmet customization labeled "Kidron Sunset,"[2] as part of a post-launch add-on in 2021.[3] It was first mentioned in Star Wars Legends, in the Roleplaying Game book Planets of the Galaxy, Volume Three, published by West End Games[4] on September 1, 1993.[5]
