Khan was a military rank in Kaleesh culture that signified the Kaleesh warrior as having command over their own troops. Each of the Izvoshra who served under the warlord Grievous as his bodyguards held the Khan rank.[1]

Behind the scenes

The khan was first mentioned in Star Wars canon in "The Separatists" in the booklet series of Star Wars Encyclopedia published by Altaya on May 6, 2022.[1] In the Star Wars Legends, Khan was first mentioned in The Story of General Grievous: Lord of War, published in the eighty-sixth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine in February 2006.[2]
