Kattada was an astronomical object[1] located in the Kattada system[2] of the galaxy's Colonies region.[1] It shared its name with the wine Kattadan rosé.[4]
Behind the scenes
Kattada was first canonically mentioned in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, published in 2016 by Fantasy Flight Games.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Kattada originated in the National Public Radio adaptation of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[5]

(In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
