The Kashyyyk team was a team organized by the Jedi Order to travel to[1] the Mid Rim[3] planet Kashyyyk after the affliction known as the blight was discovered there. The team was led by Jedi Knight Reath Silas. On the team were two Wookiee Jedi[1]—Jedi Knight[4] Burryaga and[1] Jedi Master[5] Kelnacca—Jedi Knight Dez Rydan, Jedi Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo, the former Jedi Azlin Rell and Cohmac Vitus, the scientist Avon Starros, and the former Nihil Nan Hague. The team were transported to Kashyyyk by the crew of the Byne Guild starship Vessel, which consisted of Affie Hollow, Leox Gyasi, and Geode.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Kashyyyk team appeared in the 2025 young-adult novel The High Republic: Into the Light, written by Claudia Gray as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[6]
