Kamperdine Clothing Specialists was a boutique manufacturer of custom clothing that specialized in the use of exotic beast hides. Capable of producing something both stylish and rugged from the skin of nearly any known animal, the company tailored each piece to the exact specifications of the customer, with their clientele consisting of a who's-who of galactic VIPs.[1]
The company's products included highly sought-after custom tailored armored jackets that could be made to perfectly fit nearly any sentient species, although they had to be ordered months in advance of their desired delivery date. With no two of the jackets alike, they made a memorable first impression and signified that the wearer was an individual with impeccable taste. Kamperdine jackets were rarely available on the open market, as most owners wore them until their death. Kamperdine Clothing Specialists was active during the Galactic Civil War, at which time a custom jacket would cost 6,200 credits and was hard to find for purchase.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Kamperdine Clothing Specialists was mentioned in the 2019 Star Wars Roleplaying supplement Gadgets and Gear, which was published by Fantasy Flight Games.[1] The company originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Galladinium's Fantastic Technology, a 1995 supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game that was published by West End Games.[2]
