The Kamori system was located in the Core Worlds of the galaxy. The system was situated in grid square M-11 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] An astronomical object named Kamori was located within the system.[2]

The Kamori system was first mentioned the canon continuity in the article "The Star Wars Galaxy" published on StarWars.com on June 24, 2025.[1] Previously the astrolocial object named Kamori was mentioned as the homeworld of a fathier jockey named Sabe Melnau within the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity the Kamori system was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[3]
