- "Beckett, did you hear me? Are they on us?"
"Like rashnold on a kalak." - ―Han Solo and Tobias Beckett
A kalak was a type of creature in the galaxy. Rashnold was sometimes found on kalaks.[1]
When asked by Han Solo as to whether or not a squadron of TIE fighters was still pursuing the Millennium Falcon, Tobias Beckett described the situation as being like rashnold on a kalak, to Solo's confusion.[1]
Behind the scenes
Kalaks were first mentioned in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story. Although the film's subtitles spell the name as "kalak,"[1] the novelization and the junior novelization spell the name as "kylak."[2]
In the Star Wars Legends continuity, kalaks were first mentioned in the 2004 Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds.[3]
