- "So you're doing this alone?"
"Sure, why not? Your dad raised you and Phel all by himself after Aunt Jorinda died."
"Only until he met Papa Luu."
"Still." - ―Sana Starros and Aryssha discuss the latter's pregnancy
Jorinda was a female member of the Starros Clan. They were the mother of the human twins Phel and Sana Starros, raising them with a male individual on the Hutt Space moon Nar Shaddaa. After Jorinda died by around 11 BBY, the twins' father raised them alone until he met the man Luu, who became their second dad. Around 3 ABY, Sana's cousin Aryssha mentioned Jorinda's passing when talking with Sana about her plans to raise her own twins by herself.
Biography

"Oh." - ―Phel and Sana Starros
Jorinda was the mother of Phel (left) and Sana Starros (right)
Jorinda was a female individual who was a member of the Starros Clan. At some point, they had human twins—Phel and Sana Starros—and raised them with a male individual[2] in Wormstew Town on[4] the Hutt Space moon[5] Nar Shaddaa.[2] By around 11 BBY,[1] Jorinda had died, leaving the twins to be raised by their father, which he did so by himself until he met the man Luu, who became the twins' second dad after he entered a relationship with Luu.[2]
Around 3 ABY,[1] when Sana returned to the Starros family homestead on[2] the Core Worlds planet[5] Hosnian Prime, she spoke with her cousin Aryssha—who was pregnant with twins—about her plans to raise them by herself. Aryssha reminded Sana that she and Phel had been raised by only their father after Jorinda had passed away, though Sana noted that was only until he had met Luu.[2] Later around that year,[1] Sana and Phel fought each other on[3] the Colonies[6] planet Hynestia. As they did, Phel remarked to his sister that he should have destroyed her when they were both in their mother's womb, a comment which surprised her.[3]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 Sana Starros 1 establishes that Jorinda had died before the events of Star Wars: Sana Starros, which take place around 3 ABY per the reasoning here. The issue also states that after Jorinda's death, their twin children—Phel and Sana Starros—were raised by the two's father and Luu. Sana Starros 4 later establishes that after being raised by her two dads, Sana left to study at the University of Bar'leth. Doctor Aphra: An Audiobook Original depicts Chelli Lona Aphra first real noticing of Sana at the University of Bar'leth as taking place not long after Aphra had began her doctorate, which Star Wars: Timelines dates to 11 BBY. Therefore, Sana must have enrolled at the university by around 11 BBY, and Jorinda must have passed away by that same time.
