The Jinata asteroid field was an asteroid field[2] in the Jinata system of the Core Worlds[1] where bridge crew were trained during the Halcyon's cruise.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Jinata asteroid field appeared on the route of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser between Chandrila and Kuat, and could be seen on the itinerary maps located throughout the ship, as well as from the bridge, cabin, and other viewports during the training events. Passengers were trained on ship's systems -- such as shields, weapons, system operations, and loading -- there during the bridge training events on Day 1 of the cruise.[2]
