Jibuto was an ancient city located on the arid planet of Rajtiri. It was believed Jibuto prospered as a result of Rajtiri birthing and fostering more smugglers anywhere outside of Hutt Space. The city's skyline was defined by stately spires, fancy parapets, towering domes, and colossal pavilions. Jibuto had casinos, hotels, and cantinas galore, including the Wanton Wellspring, a hole-in-the-wall establishment in the city center.[1]
Jibuto was most known for its elaborate mausoleums that were as large as mansions, constructed for fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters who had died in the line of unlawful duty and were hailed as heroes. The tombs featured towers, steeples, tiled cupolas, belfries, battlements, and crenellations. Holopresences of the deceased and continuously running 3-D epitaphs marked the tombs, and the costly commemorations were as well produced as some mainstream entertainments. In addition to the holopresences, the ossuaries were adorned with offerings of fresh flowers or bowls of food and drink.[1]
During the Imperial Era, the city would have an Imperial garrison stationed at it, with stormtroopers enforcing rules that local police previously had ignored.[1]
