The Jerrilek system was a star system in the Deep Core[2] and the Interior[1] that fell within Standard Galactic Grid square L-10.[2] It was connected to the planet Coruscant[3] and the astronomical object Nacon[4] by the Koros Trunk Line hyperspace route.[3]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Jerrilek system was mentioned as just "Jerrilek" on a map in "The Deep Core,"[3] an article written by Mark Newbold[5] and published in the "Guide to the Galaxy" department of the thirty-sixth issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[3] published by De Agostini around September 9, 2015.[6] It was then identified as the Jerrilek system in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map article on StarWars.com[2] on June 24, 2025. Both were also written by Fry.[7]

The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in "Loyalties," a Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game adventure written by James L. Cambias and published by West End Games in the fourth issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal in November 1994.[8] It was then first identified as the Jerrilek system in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[9]
