Jedi Apprentice: The Evil Experiment is a Star Wars Legends junior novel written by Jude Watson. It is the twelfth volume of the Star Wars: Jedi Apprentice series, following The Deadly Hunter and preceding The Dangerous Rescue. It was published in paperback by Scholastic in February 2001.

Plot summary
Obi-Wan and Astri voyage to Sorrus to track down the mysterious bounty hunter who has kidnapped Qui-Gon. Meanwhile, Qui-Gon weakens as Jenna Zan Arbor subjects him to experiments in her secret laboratory in an endeavor to understand the biological underpinnings of the Force.
