Jarwal fiber was a type of Akivan fabric found on the planet Akiva.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the Weequay merchant Ranu Orkin sold a unit of Jarwal fiber in Myrra for 261 credits to allies of the Hutt Clan. Namda Eaakee, a Rodian scavenger on Akiva was willing to trade jarwal fiber for transparisteel and slivian iron. During the same year, the Quarren rogue merchant Shuma sold the fiber on various worlds from her Sienar-Chall Utilipede Transport.[1]
Behind the scenes
Jarwal fiber appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It shares a name with the Jarwal tree that grew on Akiva, however it has not been established if jarwal fiber comes from the tree or just shares the name, so this article avoids the direct connection.[1]
