Itzeho was one of the planets located within the Mygeeto system of the Albarrio sector, situated in both the Outer Rim Territories and New Territories regions. An ice ball, Itzeho was the sister world of the planet Mygeeto, which was often mistaken for a simple world like the former. Itzeho was also the last planet in the Mygeeto system,[1] and lay at K-5 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[3]
Behind the scenes
Itzeho was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the forty-fifth issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[1] published around November 11, 2015.[4] The planet was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace.[5] The planet's name is almost identical to that of the real-world german city of Itzehoe.
