The Iseno sector was a sector of the Inner Rim Territories that contained the Ardru, Denon, and Iseno systems all in grid square N-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The Denon system acted as a junction between the Corellian Run and Hydian Way[2] super-hyperroutes,[3] with the former connecting it to the Iseno system and the Spirana system[4] in the Inner Rim[1] and the latter connecting it to the Chardaan system and Mardona system, also both in the Inner Rim.[5] The Corellian Run further connected the Iseno system[4] to the Abednedo system[6] in the Colonies. The Denon system[1] contained the ecumenopolis planet Denon.[7] In 0 ABY,[8] Rebel Alliance agents Luke Skywalker, Nakari Kelen, and R2-D2 undertook a mission to Denon to rescue the codebreaker Drusil Bephorin from the Galactic Empire.[7]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Iseno sector first appeared in the 2015 novel Heir to the Jedi, which was written by Kevin Hearne.[7] It was first identified in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[9] The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[10] It then appeared for the first time in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Galactic Starfighter, a 2014 expansion to BioWare's massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[11]
