Walt Disney Imagineering, formerly WED Enterprises, is the research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company responsible for the design and creation of its theme parks and experiences around the world. Imagineering has worked on several Star Wars projects, starting with the original Star Tours attraction at Disneyland Park in 1987. Imagineering was also behind the development of the attraction's updated iteration, known as Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, as well as CinéMagique, Hyperspace Mountain, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
