The Harrin system was located in the Harrin sector[3] of the Inner Rim[1] and the Trailing Sectors.[2] It was situated in the grid square L-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The super-hyperroute[4] known as the Corellian Trade Spine connected Harrin to the Yag'Dhul system as well as the Expansion Region's Kinyen system, while another hyperspace route linked it to the Wroona system.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Harrin system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the January 29, 2016 StarWars.com article "Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Star Wars: The Force Awakens?" by Mark Newbold.[5] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[3] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[6] The system was originally created by Stephen Crane for the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was introduced in Twin Stars of Kira, a 1993 supplement for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[7]
