The Hakara system was located in the Corva sector within the Outer Rim Territories. The system was situated in grid square U-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid and[1] contained a location of the same name, Hakara.[2] Early in the Clone Wars,[3] a batch of over twenty-six thousand B1-series battle droids manufactured at a Akiva production plant were deployed to Hakara.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Hakara system was first mentioned the canon continuity in the article "The Star Wars Galaxy" published on StarWars.com on June 24, 2025.[1] Previously Hakara was mentioned in a collectable audio transmission in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity the Hakara system was introduced inStar Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion, authored by Jason Fry.[4]

Rishi Station in the Databank (backup link) establishes that the events of "Rookies," which dates itself to be early in the BX-series droid commando's existence, occurs in the early period of the Clone Wars. If the BX-series was new during the early war, then the Clone Wars-era transmission about preliminary BX testing seen in Star Wars Outlaws must have been from the early war period as well.
