"Supervisor Poreni. I am C-5DS, on behalf of General Grievous. Field data indicates that batch 4652-A of B1 battle droids have proven insufficient in terms of combat performance. Out of more than twenty-six thousand deployed droids, less than five percent have survived engagement with Republic forces. Before scheduling another order, we require an update as how the product will be improved."

Batch 4652-A was a batch of over twenty-six thousand B1-series battle droids manufactured at the Akiva production plant and deployed to Hakara[1] around 22 BBY during the early Clone Wars.[2] During their service against the Republic Military, the droids displayed demonstrated poor combat performance, with less than five percent having survived through confrontation with Republic forces. As such, the droid C-5DS communicated the poor performance to Poreni the chief supervisor of the production plant on behalf of General Grievous. Poreni promised to improve the next batch and offered a twenty percent discount on it, which C-5DS accepted as a discount on all B1 orders going forward.[1]

In 3 ABY,[3] the scoundrel Kay Vess discovered four transmissions between Poreni and C-5DS that included the discussion regarding batch 4652-A.[1]

If the BX-series was new during the early war, then the Clone Wars-era transmission about preliminary BX testing seen in Star Wars Outlaws must have been from the early war period as well. Star Wars: Timelines dates the beginning of the Clone Wars and the events of "Rookies" to 22 BBY.
