- "I love my knife, and I love my wife."
- ―Hachi, to Mon Mothma
A female individual was the wife of the human Scarabi mercenary Hachi.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[2] after Hachi led a group of Scarabi that kidnapped Rebel Alliance leader Mon Mothma,[1] she[3] spoke with Mothma while holding her in a Scarabi safe house and asked her why she had decided to fight against the Galactic Empire.[1]
In response, Mothma created a hypothetical scenario in which the Empire controlled Hachi and asked her what she loved, to which Hachi responded that she loved her knife and her wife. Mothma told Hachi the Empire could decide she had to be a miner and could not have her wife, as they were needed as a farmer on a distant world. Continuing the scenario, Mothma added that Hachi was not a good match for her wife and that she no longer had them. Hachi was eventually convinced that kidnapping Mothma was a mistake, but she was then killed by another Scarabi mercenary before she could release Mothma.[1]
