The Great Rite was an event undertaken by the Gand species on Gand prior to them becoming Findsman. Before he undertook the Great Rite, the future bounty hunter Zuckuss began to have doubts about whether he had to undertake it and if he wa worthy of becoming a Findsman, and went missing. After being found by his mother, he informed them of his concerns. After they comforted him, he was prepared to go and undertake the rite with other hatchlings in his clan.[1]
