The Gorvinia system was a star system in the grid square O-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid, in the Thusa sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories.[2] The drink known as Gorvinian red originated from the system.[3][4] It shared its name with gorvin snu, lizardlike creatures native to the planet Arvala-7[5] in the Arvala system in the Sevetta sector.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Gorvinia system was mentioned via the appendix Star Systems of the Galaxy, published on the StarWars.com website[1] as part of Star Wars Galaxy Map[6] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[7]
